The plan
- Use a dehumidifier to bring basement humidity to ~50%.
- Vacuum corners and behind boxes monthly. Remove old webs.
- Seal foundation cracks and gaps around basement windows.
- Move boxes off the floor onto shelves. Use plastic, not cardboard.
- Replace bright outdoor bulbs near basement entries with yellow bug bulbs.
